Book and Movie

Since last week, I and my friends planned to watch "Love In Disguise". Yet, ended up with LeeHom fans and Jay fans quarrelled last Thursday regarding LeeHom and Jay, who is better. Today, I and YeeMun went for a movie after our class at Wangsa Walk. Had early bird discount. For the 1st time, I watch movie that early, sit couple seat and only 6 person. Tot of watch "Phua Chu Kang The Movie" as don't play play. What a lame reason?! 
 

Is the movie customized for Aaron Kwok 郭富城? Both have the word "城" which means city. Rating is 3 out of 5 as I found some defects especially the scene Sunny (Aaron Kwok)'s make up became fat. Then, the last part didn't handled well as suddenly that mutant died because of explosion. I knew that's his weakness. Yet, should tell it a bit details. The important point is the story sound not logic. Malaysia, World War II, mutant and flying knife. Maybe I should put in more imagination. Found many complaints from the audiences after watched it. How bout you all?

Every movie has a message to pass. I like the phrase said by Sunny, "Once you flied your knife, you must hit the target.". Another one, said by XiuHua(Zhang Jin Chu), "Did you lost yourself when you're on your life path?". Asked myself, am I on the path without losing myself? Feel like I'm getting far and far from my original aim. I need to come back and hit my target on schedule. I know how to do so but what I need the most is motivation and strength. Wonder where they both gone since June?

Went to Popular and looked for new book. Get the latest Pop Club Magazine which released today. Yippie! Such a long time I didn't get it as out of stock. Many new books but none of it attracts my interest. So just grabbed a novel. Wanna complaint a Popular staff. I already showed my Popular member card and I bought one item. Even I didn't get any discount, you should give me the magazine. Don't tell me that you don't know or I look like wanna cheat for a magazine.

Flip through the magazine, found two books which I want to buy it immediately. They are "Eat Pray Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert and 《生日没有如果》 by Doctor George Lee who you can see on left hand side picture. Still remember the 1st time I read bout his story. It was bout his childhood till now. He stayed in UK for many years, yet, he came back to Malaysia just because here is he was born here. Can't imagine he can write article that interesting. You all can read it in SinChew Daily.

For the 1st time, I wanted to buy an English book. As before this, I that think English word can't express things as well as Chinese word. Sorry for my thought. This book was published in year 2006 and over 7 million copies now were printed. It's bout a woman who just divorced and found another view to see this world by eat in Italy, pray in India and love in Indonesia. I wish I can travel to so many places and discover more and more unknowns. Go travel all by alone. Even it will be lonely, yet, I prefer to experience things fully all by myself. Feel like wanna work for a travel magazine. Then I can share my trip to everyone. How wonderful it is.

Furthermore, this story will on cinema next month. But audiences in other country already watched it. Why here so slow? Wish to see how nice are Italy, India and Bali. There are many places in Bali which I didn't have chance to visit. Julie Roberts is playing the character Liz Gilbert. Elle est jolie which means she is good looking in French. Like the photo that she is having ice cream. Nice photo can be taken as simple as that. Hope I can watch it during my semester break.   

When only I can get Orange latest book? Her new book, "Last Farewell". I like her book without any reason. Just simply. Get to know her through Ocean's blog. He introduced another author too, Nine Knife. Haven't discover his book. Maybe few months later as I don't have the feel to read his book. Sorry for his fans. I know he writes well too. I will grab one as fast as possible. Back to Orange, she can include 20 above characters within one book. There was once, I updated my FB status by written that I'm almost crazy as too many characters till I don't know who is the main characters. The love story she write quite interesting and it's happened in our real life. Perhaps it just happened on me and you.

BookFest@Malaysia2010 is going to start on 4th September til 12 September at KLCC Hall 1 to Hall 5. Wish to go but I need to go home. Hope you guys can visit and grab nice book(s). Remind that there will be many many people as it's holiday for primary and secondary schools.
